Born in Indiana as an infant, Morgan moved to Charlestown in 2005 and began her journey through local pageants such as Miss Harvest Homecoming, Miss Metropolitan, and Miss Indiana's Outstanding Teen.

During the talent portion of Miss Indiana, she performed a lyrical ballet set to Guy Penrod’s “It Is Well With My Soul.” She shares her title with Brittany Mason, both having held the crown for Indiana.

Morgan is one of four siblings, with three younger brothers. Her father, Pastor Gregg Jackson, and mother, Trina Collins Jackson—crowned Miss New Mexico in 1984—have both influenced her community‑focused outlook.
