Morgan Matson, who also writes as Katie Finn, is a New York Times bestselling novelist celebrated for titles such as Since You’ve Been Gone, Second Chance Summer, and the Top 8 series. Her books have consistently topped young adult bestseller lists since her debut in 2008.
Early Days
Born in New York City and raised between the city and Greenwich, Connecticut, Morgan developed an early love for storytelling. She studied theatre and English at Occidental College in Los Angeles, a period that later inspired her novel Amy and Roger’s Epic Detour.
