Morgan Parker is an American poet, novelist, and editor whose work spans award‑winning poetry collections and young adult fiction.
Early Days
Parker grew up in Southern California before earning a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and creative writing from Columbia University. She later completed an MFA in poetry at New York University.
Fun Facts
Her debut collection, Other People's Comfort Keeps Me Up At Night, was published in 2015 and re‑released in the U.S. and U.K. in 2021. She is a member of The Other Black Girl Collective and hosts the live podcast Reparations, Live!.
