Morten Lund is a Danish entrepreneur and venture capitalist renowned for investing in more than 100 high‑tech startups, including Skype and the now‑defunct LundXY.
Early Days
Lund was born in Roskilde and studied economics at Odense University before dropping out to launch his first major venture, the web consultancy Neo Ideo, in 1996.

He sold Neo Ideo to advertising giant Leo Burnett just three years later, in 1999, and has since built a reputation for spotting breakthrough technology companies early.

Lund was married to Hlin Schow Mogensdottir from 1998 until their divorce in 2008, during which time they had four children together.
